Residence Masna - Prague, Czech Republic 

Great apartment

We stayed in apartment 204 for 5 nights in July 2008. We were met at the airport by a very friendly driver, and taken to the main Prague City Apartments office to check in (Masna does have it's own reception, but it's only open between 08:00 and 12:00, so if you need any assistance concerning the apartment outside of these hours, you need to take a short 5 minute walk to the main reception). The apartment was very spacious, with beautiful wooden floors and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The flat screen TV and DVD player were a great bonus as well. There were a few patches on the walls that could have done with a lick of paint, and it has to be said that the bed was WAY too soft. That aside, the staff were extremely helpful, and the location was perfect. We'll definitely be back. Had it not been for the overly soft bed, i would have given Masna an "excellent" rating. Highly recommended!

Good location, just a few minutes walk from the old town square. We had a studio apartment which was roomy and quiet. Well equipped with friendly service but not cheap - though we did get a free taxi to the airport in the price.

This is a home from home but better!

This is the second time my husband and I stayed in Masna and it's getting better and better. These apartments are so well equipped - they are just as nice as a hotel but with more room and about half the price. We were staying 3 nights and they gave us a free car from the airport, and a reduced rate on the way back which was a really nice touch. The girl in reception the first day was so friendly and helpful. she said she was new and she couldnt do enough for us. she even printed off an email booking form from my husband's email account. The apartments are located on a fairly quiet street about 2 mins walk from the old town square and close to bars & restaurants. Last time we stayed at masna there was a bar next door which could get a little noisy but found this time it has been closed and the reception is located where it had been. There is a maid service for cleaning the apartments and replacing towels and this service is just as good as any hotel. And it's so nice to have a kitchen area for making a cuppa or bringing back bagels for breakfast (tip there is a brilliant place across the st called bohemia bagel). on the downside, there was building work going on which caused us some early morning disturbance, but this is not the fault of the apartment staff. Also the shower was a bit difficult to control as the shower spray tends to shoot right out on the floor and soak the place and can't be moved easily. Other than that the bathroom was lovely. But these are very minor things compared to the great value for money and comfort offered in these apartments. They are so safe, and so affordable (approx ?100 per night - and they can accommodate up to 4 people). Thanks again to the Masna staff, yet again we had a wonderful stay, and hope to visit you again in the future.
