Stayed at the Archibald for 2 nights on16/9, Hotel is in an excellent central location about 5 mins walk to Wenceslas Sq and approx. 15 mins easy walk to Old Town Sq. Hotel staff very efficient - and yes, not over friendly but we did get a smile from the receptionist despite what previous reviews say! The hotel is new and spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Its on a fairly busy road but rooms are well soundproofed with Aircon, we were on the 5th floor and our room was not overlooking the road so no problem. Breakfast was good, fairly wide choice of hot & cold food. Overall excellent value and a very comfortable base to explore this fabulous city.

Lovely room, fantastic bathroom with a bath. Easy train ride from main train station, walking distance to some of the citys sights. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. Would recommend a stay here.

This is a nice, clean, quiet hotel (double glazing), which is walkable to the Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square etc. It is opposite an adult video shop, which was a surprise to me, but to be honest, I didn't see anything seedy. There are some adult clubs in the area towards Wenceslas, but if you keep to the main roads at night, it's easy to avoid any of them. I went to prague as a female on my own, (met friends there) and it was fine, no hassle. The breakfast was nice, buffet style, plenty of choice and a great cup of english breakfast tea. Free internet access in the lobby. Two lifts up the rooms. I got a double room, even though I only paid for a single. I even had a nice bit of a view towards the river as I was on the corner. All in all, I was really pleased with my choice and think I was very lucky.

Siamo stati molto bene, gli impiegati, apparentemente freddi e distaccati, si sono rivelati gentili e disponibili. L'hotel ? a non pi? di cinque minuti a piedi da Piazza san Venceslao, una volta l? sei nel cuore di Praga. Nessun appunto negativo al servizio n? alla struttura. Abbiamo ricevuto quel che ci aspettavamo, in base alle indicazioni trovate su Venere e soprattutto grazie ai commenti degli altri utenti. Dovendo riandare a Praga, alloggerei nuovamente all'Archibald City.
