Mira Hotel - Prague, Czech Republic 

Surprisingly...Great!

This hotel is located in the old town area so a bit of a trek from the centre, But prague has a fantastic tram system so its not a problem. Room was very spacious, King size bed planty of storage. the bathroom was quite small but very clean with a great shower. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast consists of cold meats, egg, breads, jam and yoghurts - as expected for the country! but delicious Taxi from the airport to the hotel cost ?16 approx. although far out from town, you get to see som much more by hopping on the trams. Such an easy city to get around Would go back for sure

The shower is unquestionably great, very powerful but the toilet tiny, hard to get in and out. However, room 21 is large and pleasant but they don't appear to do it up, i.e. our bed was never made and once only they emptied the bins but no change of towels, etc. As for breakfast, well, erratic is the word. One day it was splendid and the next day, there were only biscuits, coffee and juice. It is not at all centrally located but admittedly the tram stop is close by. The two women there are dry but helpful. Same cannot be said about the dour young man behind the desk. In sum one could say good value for money but no, because there are too many hidden little hitches and tricks.

Good decent hotel

The hotel well situated (2 minutes from the tram station and then 15 minutes from the center). The rooms are very spacious and clean, the beds are a little small. Bathroom was all new and very well kept. The breakfast was also good, diverse and enought food. The only bad point would be the reception people who were not nice and not helpful at all (they didn't know where to find the post office!). Overall, our stay was very nice and I'll recommend this hotel, for sure.
