Hotel Saint George address: Tyršova 2, Prague, 7050

Hotel Saint George details: Hotel St. George is located very close to the centre of the capital, only a short distance from Wenceslas Square. The spacious capacity of the hotel allows us to cater for many different needs.

This magnificent building was brought back to its original 18th century architectural pureness due to careful retoration. The interiors have been elegantly decorated with biedermeier style furniture. An ideal place for a comfortable stay.

The hotel guests will find everything they need to regenerate and strengthen themselves. In fact there is a fully equipped fitness centre, a spacious Jacuzzi and a comfortable Swedish sauna at your disposal at all times.

Fitness and Jacuzzi - free of charge.
Sauna - extra charge.

My husband and i stayed here whilst attending a family wedding in Prague. Also my parents and sister/brother in law stayed as well. It is a lovely hotel and is ten minutes walk from Wencelas Square which is great. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are unobtrusive except for one of the breakfast ladies who must really hate her job!!. The rooms are on the small size but have airconditioning, a safe and ensuite facilities. Beside the lobby is a reception room including a small bar and it is lovely to relax there after touring the city all day. My only gripe would be that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms which being irish i missed my tea! The hotel is a good middle of the road option for holidaying in Prague but if you really can splash out there are some nicer hotels in Wencelas Square.

People complain about the grafitti in Prague but this should not reflect the hotel which was warm and pleasent. I'm glad the receptionist spoke good english because czech is one of the hardest languages to comprehend. Our room was clean, cozy and well equipped. We loved the hotel Spa and Gym which you could have to yourself as it was 1 or 2 persons at a time. The hotel was right around the corner from a great bar which seemed redicullasly cheap, and within easy walking distance of the river, the clock and high street which runs down from the national museum. Travel tip - book an evening river cruise/dinner. Well recommended.
