"Nice budget hotel"

We stayed here for two nights. We were looking for a place to lay our heads at the end of rather eventfull walking/sightseeing holiday. This fit the bill perfectly. Low cost and just a place to sleep. The rooms were clean, warm and we didn't find them especially noisy at all. But we were so tired I don't think we'd have heard a thing. Breakfast was set up each morning and catered for all tastes. Even my 7 year old loved it and he's picky. We needed two rooms for this stay. One happened to be on the 3rd floor and the other on the 2nd. I'd be happy to stay here again on our next trip to Prague. It was quite easy to get to all the places we wanted to see from this location as well. Just a tram ride away. Also be sure to visit the small shops and bakery in this area. Some real bargains to be had. Don't miss the Pizza/Italian place joined to this hotel is a nice spot to eat after a tired day.

Overall, it was a nice hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, there was no neighbor noise, etc. There were a couple of annoyances, though. The price quoted on this page was in euros. The hotel made me pay in the Czech currency, and the euro to Czech currency conversion rate of the hotel (or its credit card handler) was so bad that I basically paid ?45 extra compared to the price quoted on this page. Next time I'm gonna insist on paying in euros (if that's possible). Secondly: There was not enough hot water in the shower to allow the three of us in the room to shower without the water getting cold for the third person to shower.

great hotel and location

Absolutely fantastic, great room with loads of space. Right on the corner so good view to both streets. Excellent location near park and trams etc. Staff very helpful and pleasant, excellent restaurant downstairs (pizza) restaurant, so, so reasonable and the food was gorgeous. Breakfast was much more varied than expected. Would definatly stay there again,hopefully soon!
