Got off the plan got into a taxi, a company called AAA i was told to use this firm because they don't rip you off because they are on a meter system. I knew the hotel was the other side of the city it cost us 800 Korun about 24 pounds.I yeld to to the driver hit it bob and don't spare the horses.It took about 45 minutes to do a 30 minute journey. This was because the driver didn't know exactly where the hotel was, he didn't speak any English and I didn't speak any cheque? what a pair we were I was laughing at him and he was laughing at me . But with a bit of map pointing and grunting we managed to find it, wooHHOOO.I gave the driver a tip and thanked him for making me laugh and shook his hand. The hotel is nice and clean. We booked with Expedia so all we did was give the bloke the voucher we downloaded and printed out he looked at it and said yep looks good Mr Lewis room127. Room 127 is on the 2nd floor. On the way to the room there were random sofas and chairs to sit down on if you got no friends and like sitting in the middle of no where. Got to the room well presented, I have stayed in many rooms around the world none as good value for money as this one before. Mini bar which you have a sheet of paper and mark down which items you guzzled, simple, take that at the end of your stay to reception and pay up. A desk to white stuff on. A 15inch L.C.D Tv with German movies and CNN!!. The bed to single beds pushed to gether. Make sure if you are doing the wild thing to keep off the middle or someone is going to have a brused back. Bathroom well fitted hairdrier buit in, big mirror tidy sized power shower and the thrown. There was a towel rail as well. It was full of air because we were on the top floor so i used the bottle opener from the minibar to bleed the air out of the heated towel rail. I had to do this with the radaitor in the bed room as well but it was more difficult because the screew bleed nipple was a very fine slot, not even a 1 pence piece would fit so i took the flap off the toilet roll holder, it took a bit of effort to do this but once off i took it over to the rad in the bedroom and out came the air. I fitted the flap back on to th toilet roll holder, and no one was any the wiser. After that every day i would bleed the air out of the towel rail as the towel rail was the highest point of plumbing in the room then we had a nice warm room to back into after being out. Next moring breakfast was a buffet layout. If you are going into town you can book the minibus which you have to book the day before you want to go it is FREE it leaves at 9.40am and comes back aroud 6pm. we used taxis to get into town, which the guy at reception will book for you with a price of 400 K around 12 pounds it can get a bit expensive. Spartanische eingerichtetes Zimmer direkt neben dem Treppenhaus. Knarzende Holztreppe. Manches Ibis-Hotel ist luxuriöser eingerichtet als mein Zimmer (204). Ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet, aber wenig abwechslungsreich. Eigenes Restaurant im Haus (nicht getestet). Eigener Parkplatz im Hof und perfekte Anbindung an Bus und Metro. Bus hält direkt vor der Tür, fährt alle 15 Min. Fahrt ins Zentrum mit Bus und Metro dauert rd 30 Min. Fahrkarten (20 CZK) an der Rezeption. Ausser CNN leider nur CZ-Fernsehen und RTL-II ohne Ton. Leselampe auf dem Nachttisch defekt. Spinnweben in der Zimmerecke. Bad ok, jedoch noch die Seife des Vormieters in der Dusche. Sauna (10 EUR) nicht getestet, ist vermutlich zus mit Fitnessbereich für einen zusätzlichen Stern verantwortlich. Damit 2 + 1 Sterne. Die vom Hotel beworbenen 4 Sterne sind Wunschdenken.
