We were unfortunately relocated here after our first hotel found a 'leak in our room'. We were promised a fantastic Fortuna hotel that was 5 mins from the centre city. What we got was horrendous! When we first arrived there were tonnes of young teenagers hanging around the reception area who would later have parties at about 3/4am which kept everyone awake as the walls were paper thin. We got 2 inter-connecting rooms with one toilet and shower and 5 beds. One of the beds had no linen or pillows and when we requested some they begrudgingly gave us a pillow and sheet. The toilet would only flush twice a day as it took that long for the cistern to refill so we basically couldn't use it. Some staff were helpful but others didn't speak any english at all. The hotel is in a very dodgy area down a back alley so we felt very unsafe walking back at night and it's a mission getting into town as it requires a 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, then catching a bus then catching a metro. All in all it took an hour to get to Wencelsas Square. The breakfast was poor as well. I definately wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

We stupidly "won" a short break on EBAY > The description " Enjoy two nights at this delightful prague hotel, dinner, bed and breakfast, a bottle of wine in your comfortable room and a 24 hour travel pass. My first impression of the hotel was one of pure horror, it looks like a high rise block of flats,in a decidedly rough area of town. Our room was on the 12th floor, it had two single beds (This was supposed to be a romantic break away from the kids!), no tv or radio, and no bottle of wine. The staff were rude and unhelpful, couldnt speak english and we ended up only having one dinner in the hotel due to a mix-up, this said I didnt complain because the food was appauling!!! The breakfast was disgusting, even the orange juice was watered down, the hotel was full of students, it resembled a youth hostel, my husband and I were the only guests over 21 years old. Another english couple booked in the same time as us but only syayed one night and made a hasty retreat into Prague to find other accomodation. I woulnt reccomend this hotel to anyone, not even my worst enemy, Prague is a beautiful City that I would love to visit again and again, its just a shame that my first experience was spoilt by such an awful place as the Luna Hotel or should I say Hovel.
