Tulip Inn Prague Terminus - Prague, Czech Republic     

As suggested by other travellers this is an adequate hotel and although in a far from beautiful part of the city, is close enough to walk to all the main attractions. About 20mins to the old town square. The staff, as with most Czechs, were as friendly as their income required but don't expect to see any of them while you eat your breakfast in the basement. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and don't agree with the majority of reviewers that the breakfast is great. For sure there was a selection but again the quality and quantities were only adequate. The rooms were certainly clean and very warm, despite the outside temperatures being constantly below zero, but the better rooms away from the road only look out on to a courtyard. For a city hotel I can say this hotel is just about value for money.. but not for us as the prices were double over New Year.

An excellent Hotel. Good food, very clean, rooms large and comfortable. We stayed during the winter, it was always warm, water always hot. Within 15-20 minutes walking to Old Town. Only downside was our room overlooked main highway that is adjacent to Hotel and was at times somewhat noisy, but not uncomfortably so. Staff were excellent,very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.
