Hotel Bily Lev - Prague, Czech Republic     

Staying in this hotel spoilt mine and my boyfriends holiday. The room was dirty and smelt of stale smoke and there were smokers stains on the walls and the bathroom was basic with a trickling shower. The foyer and halls were depressing and dark from the dated decor. The breakfast room was not nice either, we were served rubber cheese and stale bread for breakfast. An overall awful experience for a couple wanting a romantic break.

We stayed in this hotel the first nine days of August. The hotel is in a good position and the tram to go downtown (venceslao square) are very numerous and on time. Reception is open 24h/24h, that's good. Receptionists are friendly (except a young one), and help you giving information about the city. Very useful is the pc with free internet conncetion. Room are quite clean, with quite new forniture, tv, teapot. unfortunately, tv program are not changeable by users. Breakfast is good, but not remarkable. we had some problem with the interruption of water (public work in streets), but it is not a hotel's fault. In the end, a good hotel, expecially if you need a place to return after tours of city.
