4We booked to stay at this hotel through lastminute and paid £70 per night. We were hoping for a pleasant hotel, not budget and this is exactly what we got - we stayed in room 48 which was a double room with en-suite shower/wc and a balcony. Not huge but absolutely fine for a week's stay.
The hotel was on a quiet road but only a couple of minutes walk to the nearest metro and about 15 minutes walk to be right in the middle of everything. We tend to walk but found the metro very efficient and easy to use and it was great for getting back at the end of the day. Literally just round the corner from the hotel.
The reception staff were very pleasant, spoke good English and were helpful about ordering a taxi, giving us additional pillows and changing a large note (2000 ck) for some smaller ones. The reception was open 24 hours per day and there was a baggage store to leave our suitcase on the final day when we didn't need to leave until late afternoon.
Only minor issue was that there was no tea and coffee in the room but you could have tea ./ coffee/ hot chocolate on a tray in reception for about 50p per pot which we did on a couple of occasions.
Breakfast was very good. I am veggie, my partner is not and we both enjoyed the selection - pastries, fruit, yoghurts, cheese, ham, rolls, scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon and sausages - plus organge juice, tea, coffee, hot chocolate - all self service so you could have as much or as little as you wanted.
Our room was quiet - it was on the 4th floor so little "passing traffic" and there was a lift although it only stops between floors so you do have to walk a few steps up or down to get to rooms, reception and breakfast room.
We had a fridge in our room - drinks were a reasonable price (coke for 50p, beer 50p, wine about £2 for a small bottle) but it was also big enough that we could store drinks we bought in the supermarket in there too.
The hotel policy is to change sheets every 3 days if you are staying for a while - we were happy to keep the same ones for the whole week. With towels you decide - if you leave them in the shower they replace them, if you hang them up they leave them. There was a heated towel rail in the bathroom.
We were very pleased with the service and location of the hotel and would stay there again if we went back to Prague.
