Our restaurant space was completely remodeled as well as our breakfast menu which now is even richer! Breakfast in this elegant and tranquil setting is offfered between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. and and consists of a selection of breads, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, salamis, cheeses, smoked meats and various hot-plates such as scambled eggs with smoked salmon, steak and eggs and full-english.
In the evening the Balthasar bar,opens the public entrance from the side-street next to the hotel, and swings into action as Balthasar Wine Bar, offering Czech and Moravian wines as well as wines from around the world. The friendly staff will serve you wine by the glass or bottle, cheese and meat platters, fondues, olive and parmesan dips, hot dishes including czech roast beef with fried bread and horseradish sauce or king prawns in garlic butter, coffees, ports, sherry, a special czech beer and, of course, champagne.
The restaurant keeper is our friend Derek Snellgrove from London, who became our business partner as well after a couple of years living in Prague.
