Apart Hotel BV I & II - Prague, Czech Republic     

I stayed here in April 2007. The hotel/pension is right on Nove Mesto, which is a good location. It's a close walk to the Old Town (Stare Mesto) and the Astronomical Clock. It's a fun place to be, a bit noisy so if you like a more quiet place, you may want to find a pension in other off streets. This place was a little difficult to find at first because it's hidden among all the shops. The room was huge. Furnitures are pretty basic, and the bed is not very comfortable and doesn't seem all that stable to me. I was always afraid that it would collapse any second, but nothing happened. Still, for the price I paid, it's well worth the money. Especially if you can split with another person, it's a great deal. Other reviewers mentioned that it was noisy at night but it was fine for me. The storm windows are pretty tight so I didn't hear much noise at all. The receptionists were very helpful. All and all, I would stay here again.

Excellent location above Marks and Spencer and on Wenchels square. At night, the seedier side of Prague is around the square (more like a street than square as we would call it). But for four girls in a group it was fine. When getting there, you want the Mustek metro stop - there are about 6 different exits. When the musuem is in front of you, M&S is on your left - pictures attached. Really good value for money. Just take lots of layers!
