Corinthia Panorama Hotel - Prague, Czech Republic     

We booked this hotel for the price and we were all very surprised with the facilities and the service. We did upgrade to the business room and think it was well worth it as the rooms were larger and very comfortable, we had a kingsize bed, the breakfast was fantastic, everything you could think of was there and you could have as much as you wanted. The staff were all very helpful and spoke in English. We also got the 119 bus from the airport and then bought the travel ticket for a 7 day pass on all transport, it cost 280. We got off the Metro at Pancrac and saw the building site and found the alley which leads to the back of the hotel. Once you are in the hotel you do not have any indication of the building site, which is good. We used the metro, trams and buses to get around. We did find the drinks and food more expensive in the hotel but we were told about a local Czech restaurant called La Mimosa which is across the road, under the Peaguot building. It was really good, food was excellant, staff spoke good english and were helpful and friendly and the value for money was superb. We definetely recommend it. The only dissappointing thing about the whole trip was . . . . it didn't snow. We were really hoping for snow but it did not happen, it was very cold -4. We would go back again to this hotel.

Well after reading some of the reviews on this site I was dreading my visit to this hotel! I mean come on who would put a hotel in the middle of a building site!!!!!! Fortunately this Hotel went beyond my expectations, it was Fantastic, extremely clean and helpful, Yes my room was looking out onto the building site but I am clever enough to look beyond this to the beautiful scenery that was offered. I didn't expect sea views or beaches seen as though I was in prague!. I would recommend anyone visiting here tries the chinese across the road, superb service and food. The only critisism I have on this Hotel is the pillows, they are awful it was like sleeping on a bag of cotton wool. Otherwise I could not have asked for better service, breakfast was superb and very well stocked. I will definately be returning next year.
