We got to the stirka hotel at about 10 o clock at night,we were told when we booked we could change our room from a single to a double,but there were no other rooms available. Our room was four flights up the stairs in the attic and our beds were opposite sides of the room,but they were very clean and warm. The breakfast was lovely a selection of meats,cheese,danish,s and breads, tea coffee and juice. Apart from having two single beds in the room, the hotel was lovely and we would stay there again.. Arriving very late Friday evening we did wonder where on earth we had ended up, but the sight of tea/coffee facilities in the clean room was very welcoming! Bed was comfortable, inviting bathroom with hot water, tv with cnn news & english Eurosport. The atmosphere is great, the staff friendly, the plates are big and the FOOD. The Metro takes you to city centre within 10 mins for about 50p, & what a beautiful city it is! After a long days walking around it, we were thankful for the comfortable bed, and the good choice of breakfast next morning before starting off another jaunt!. Read review

The location was my biggest concern, but it is in a quiet part north of the city center. The reception is open 24 hours and helpful.. Read review

We arrived at around 10pm and were eager to find our rooms. We had 3 double rooms and mine was a triple. The bedding was of a good quality and changed every day. The hotel reception staff are very helpful and informative.. Read review
