This hotel ruined my trip to Prague. I chose it for the location, but wish I had spent a little bit extra to find a nicer hotel. I arranged for a car to pick me up at the airport - it never arrived so I had to take a cab to the hotel at midnight. The staff proceeded to charge me for the transfer anyway! The staff member I spoke with that night was rude and the manager I spoke to the next day was even more rude. When I explained that they were practicing poor customer service by charging me for a service I never received, they insisted that they were in the right. I have never had this happen at any other hotel! The attitude of the staff is disgraceful. The hotel itself is run down. You spend a lot of time anticipating your vacation - don't ruin it by staying here!

My wife and I stayed at the Meteor Plaza for a week over Easter 2007. After our previous trip to Marrakech it was a pleasure to stay here. The room was cleaned properly every day, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom had a properly functioning power shower (something I find to be rarer than perhaps it should) the staff were helpful and the food was excellent. Breakfast was the usually buffet type but there was a large selection and I ended up having something different pretty much every day. I would also recommend trying the vaulted restaurant in the cellar for something a little more upmarket. This is a well run, clean hotel and, if I return to Prague, I will happily stay here again. For the location and price I have no complaints at all.
