My wife and I booked this 4* hotel after some research. The photos of the accommodation were certainly impressive and we thought for our money we would be assured a pleasant stay. Unfortunately we endured five days which were less than satisfactory. An A4 computer print out told us on our arrival that there was some building work happening in "one room on the ground floor" however the reality was that it seemed to be going on throughout. We were woken up every morning (in our famine cabin sized room) to jack hammers and sand blasters, workmen talking loudly over the blaring local radio and dust throughout the corridor. This was completely awful given all we wanted a bit of a rest and a lie-in. Being early for breakfast was easy as were up from the crack of dawn - however that too was a disaster. Is it acceptable to be served up carrots, broccoli & sweet corn at breakfast? Mental. Also, there seemed to be some sort of prohibition on coffee as guests jostled for the few remaining drops of the watered down brown excuse. The orange juice was orange flavoured water that can only be described as putrid - how have they not all died of scurvy? The hotel bar by evening was joke - by way of a night cap we ordered a drink - half way through the bar man opened the doors to the courtyard, blasting freezing cold air in. He then left. My wife eventually got up and closed the double doors as our shaking hands and blue lips were ruining the romantic mood. This was at 10pm when the bar was supposed to stay open for a further two hours - is this really the way they treat paying guests? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a disgrace. As a young, easy going couple we found our stay a complete chore - never mind had it been older relatives or friends having to put up with this.

After seeing some negative reviews on this site, I was a little apprehensive, but they proved to be unfounded. The hotel was easy to get to by public transport from the airport (it is very close to Narodni Tridna metro) and down a small road so out of the way of the hustle and bustle. The room was simple but elegant with beautiful uncovered beams on the ceiling. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean - no complaints. The buffet breakfast was nothing amazing but plenty to start your day. We found it best to avoid the 9.00 rush hour! Bread, cheese, meat, ceral, fruit etc are all available. It was a good value hotel in a great location, we could walk everywhere that we needed to. Would stay there again.

My husband and I visited the Elite for a long weekend. The hotel is really nice and I was pleased when we first walked in. We were early for check in and the staff offered to take our bags while we went for a walk and some food. Did see a couple of signs of work being done but did not see or hear anything that disrupted our stay. The rooms were also really nice standard and really clean. My only dissapointment was that we received two single beds rather than the double that my husband requested and they still leave a gap in the middle when you push them together. But it was stated that they might not be able to accomadate all requests when booking and the hotel was quite busy. The beds themselves are really comfy. The bathrooms were of a good standard and really clean as well. They had good lighting and mirror space for getting ready and hairdryer in the bathroom. There wasn't a proper shower but the bath was really big and it does have a shower head so washing hair wasn't a problem. We only had breakfast once and we weren't that impressed, though that may have also been due to the fact that we were very hungover. Although I agree with the previous reviewers opinon on the orange juice "orange flavoured water" we never saw any veg at breakfast. After that we decided to have a lie in and get breakfast elsewhere. Hotel was able to help with requests when asked, how to get to places, booking cabs and wake up calls (though this was half an hour late which could have posed a massive problem if I had not set my alarm on my phone as this was to leave for the airport). All in all I would say this hotel is good value with a great location, everything is within walking distance. It's feel and decor help to create that Prague experience. Would go back!
