Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hotel Elite in June 2005 for a romantic weekend break. The hotel was great, very pretty and had bags of character. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were large. The bar and restuarant next door, which is also owned by the hotel, did the most amazing food with big portions for very small prices. I cannot fault this place. I really wanted a hotel that had character and I got it here. Great location also. This has got to be one of the best hotels in Prague.

Little bit noisy the room at the ground floor, anyway it was a good stay.

Elite was quaint, well kept, and beautiful in a great location. Walking distance to Prague castle, public transportation, the river and Opera House. I would definitely stay there again

For what you get, it is very over-priced. Staff are non-charming, curt and not very helpful. We asked for a taxi to be ordered and in the morning it turned out this had not been done. Internet access in the room did not work. Breakfast was very good. The rooms, however, were DIRTY and very loud. Water in the bath was very brown for quite a while. Black hairs in the beds and on the tiles and floor. Food crumbs everywhere. The whole feel of the hotel is very staid, dull and cheaply done. Good location for seeing the sights but not the safest-feeling area. I definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. Sorry.

This is the second time we visit hotel Elite. The reason we choose this hotel is for the first the location. It is in the middle between the old town and the shoppingarea, so there is no need for any transport. If we want to go outside tne senter of the town, we can take the tram, and in 10-15 minutes we are away from the typical tourist-area, and the prices for both meals and shopping is far lower than in the senter.
