Pierre & Vacances Les Restanques du Golfe St Tropez - Grimaud, France     

This park is very large and extremely hilly. We stayed in a villa, although this is not like any of the villas we have stayed in before! I would say it was a 2 storey apartment, in need of updating and a lick of paint, completely overpriced. The only advantage to booking a villa was the location central to all facilities. The pool was big and busy, but we did go in August, the pool was excellent with 2 slides and we could always get a sunbed. Port Grimaud is 5-10 mins drive away but is definately not walkable. The restaurants on site are ok but thats all, especially compared to ones at the Port. Be warned you can not get a drink much after 9.30pm on the park all closes!! No bar on site. Aqualand is worth a visit but the traffic is really busy so take the back road. We wished we had booked the site further up the road, another Pierre & Vacances resort, we tried to swop but were unable to (Keyplaces RV1) this was smaller, brighter, cleaner, with a 9 hole par 3 golf course. It was walkable to the Port, Beach and supermarket, and much less expensive.
