I stayed at this hotel some time ago and found it quite pleasant.
PRO:
- very nice place, not of the standardized Holiday Inn type ...
- extremely pleasant garden, where you take your breakfast weather permitting ....
- very central, close to the main sight
CON:
- room was fairly small but reasonably equipped
- very dated bathroom ...
- restaurant was packed with smoking people .... could hardly see what was inside, very noisy .... this will have changed now with the new law prohibiting smoking in restaurant
- parking small and awkward, no underground parking
- hotel somehow difficult to find, when I arrived in Speyer I asked my way to a lady, who said "you will never find but follow me" ... I did appreciate
