We spent one week at the Casa and Luis and his family are the most welcoming hosts and you felt really "at home" from home.
The rooms are spacious, quirky and the house - being built in the 17th century oozes history.
A large swimming pool was added last year and you can cool off after a long hike and just enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Luis has made the farm-hotel an organic one and it's the only one of 2 in the region.
Guests are allowed to make use of the organic vegetable & fruit gardens which offer a large variety of dilicious goods. There is even a Shitake mushroom garden- all organic.
The Casa and surroundings is also a great place for children, Luis and his daughter are great company.
The family speaks fluent English, Spanish and some French, which makes it easier to find the bes tips of what to explore in the vicinity - and Luis is an excellent guide.
Muito obrigada Luis, Ana & Beatriz (we'll miss you and the farm already)
