The Ai Quattro Angeli apartments are a great choice for independent travellers who want to feel they are living in the city and not merely guests. We had everything you would need to live including a lovely bathroom and kitchen equipped with most things you need for a few days. The bed was upstairs which gave a feeling of more space as we had a sofa area downstairs and a table and chairs as well. You could stay here and eat in to save money if on a budget and up to four people could share.
The location is great, in an up and coming area with lots of cosy bars and cafes, just a couple of minutes walk from the nearest metro and about 15 minutes walk from old town square and charles bridge.
Breakfast was a bit meagre but adequate and served in a characterful brick basement.
My only complaint is that, thanks to its glass frontage, the room got incredibly hot and the hotel had removed the air con's batteries so we couldnt use it. We bought batteries and used it anyway but the upstairs (where the bed was) never really cooled down which was a problem.
