What Travellers Like

Ideally located in the Mala Strana across from the tower of the Charles Bridge (and the very popular hotel U Tri Ptrosu), this small hotel is probably considered a 3 star hotel but I think it delivers 4 star service. Our room (131) was large and wonderfully appointed with lovely fabrics, comfortable stuffed chairs and even a makeup table. The bathroom was large, modern and immaculately clean. Phenomenal breakfast in the beautiful restaurant, and on top of all this, the most wonderful people at the reception desk who happily made dinner reservations and answered our zillions of questions.. It is right in the middle of the tourist madness, at the foot of the Charles Bridge, but it is quiet, peaceful, and friendly. Our room was enormous, the service was perfect, and the location couldn't be beat, so that's why even though I almost never write reviews I really wanted to put in a word for the Pod Vezi.. The Pod Vezi is a beautiful small hotel, about 12 rooms I think, located right at the foot of the Charles bridge in Mala Stana. Although the Bridge area is packed with tourists, the hotel was still quiet and charming, including very large rooms and modern baths. This location is amazing, and only a few blocks from the tram, and an easy walk up to the Castle district. The staff could not have been more accomodating, the breakfast is lovely. No gym or internet, but that is not the point of this lovely traditional hotel.. Read review

The room was huge, clean, well appointed, warm and quiet - what more can you ask for? The location is absolutely brilliant - right beside the Charles Bridge so it is very handy for where ever you want to go in central Prague. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly.. Read review
