fabulous, ten minute walk from the moutainside on the outskirt of the city, wonderful view of the mountains from balcony, on arrival we were greeted by the family who run the hotel, made to feel very special - rooms are very spacious and well looked after, the breakfast was very enjoyable, really helped make our weekend one we will never forget. staff very friendly and cater to all needs if asked, and also helped with where to go etc...cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the scenery surrounding it is wonderful.

A very nice house tucked away on a hillside but only ten minutes walk from Salzburg centre or by bus at bottom of road 3 minutes.
Spotless, well run establishment with a wonderful buffet breakfast. The majority of its thirteen rooms have a balcony looking over the area below and mountains in the distance.
You can also get a package with the Salzburg card but I would not reccomend this in November as railway to castle closed and boat trip down the river finishes in October. Also the cable car is not worthwhile if it is foggy or snowing/raining as it was while we were there. The castle is worth a visit though as is the wax museum.
At the bottom of the road turn left and you will find a typical bar/restuarant with excellent food.
I would have no hesitation about returning to this hotel if I was to visit Salzburg again.
