Edinburgh details: The private hotel Edinburgh is situated in the very centre of the well-known spa of Marianske Lazne (Marienbad) amidst woods and well-kept parks. It was built between 1903-1906 and already in the time of its completion it used to be a boarding-house accommodating guests from different parts of the world.

The newly reconstructed private hotel "Edinburgh" offers seven fully equipped rooms in different price categories that are given in the price list of services. The hotel was rebuilt in its original appearance as it had been built in the early 20th century keeping all the original building elements, e.g. big and spacious massive doors, high ceilings, spacious and dominating staircases with cast-iron railings, decorative staircase supplements of genuine polished stone, polished wooden floors, revealed wooden windows with brass supplements, hand-wrought handles, original mosaic tiled floors in the corridors and the like.

Location

The hotel has maps available for biking trails and information about the local places of interest. There are many forest walks some of which feature the natural mineral spa water outlets that have made Marienbad popular for many years. Large and very beautiful parks cover much of the town centre and a short distance outside of town one can find small lakes, forest streams and historical places of interest. The town centre has beautifully renovated many of its historic buildings, with many people calling Marienbad The prettiest in the Czech Republic.
