Blimey. Well, I always like to start with a positive. It has a good location in the city centre. And...oh, that's it. We came to the conclusion that the 2 stars above the sign were actually punctuation marks and not hotel stars at all. Mostly friendly check-in people (with the exception of the slowest man in the world). The rooms were cramped with tiny bathrooms and a shower set at waist height. During our 4 night stay, we never had the bins emptied once or any towels or toiletires replaced, the sheets changed or the bed made. Particular highlight was the fact that the curtains didn't even cover a third of the total window space! That, and the bedside lamp was so badly wired, you could see the blue sparks fusing in the on/off switch. Breakfast was functional and about as healthy as a heart attack. We were three to a room (it was clearly a double room that has just had an extra single bed thrown in) on a stag do and it barely sufficed for us! Relatively cheap-ish but not as cheap as it should have been for what was on offer. Just about passable for a stag/group outing , assuming zero comforts are required. Would never dream of going here with the missus.

I'm a modest tourist who doesn't search for luxury comfort but for proper and correct place where to sleep but this hotel was just horrible... Besides it's central location and gentle reception girls - nothing positive to say. Just shame to give even one star to this "hotel". Everything is very-very old and of bad quality. In the lift on our floor the door glass was broken. WC on the floor for about 6 rooms. In the room : when you enter, a loathsome smell gets into your nose - that was the most disgusting. the walls covered by brown carpet and you can see the cigarettes marcks. the window with a wonderful view to a wall and a dirty roof or "vis-?-vis"- no sign of promissed "view to an ancient gothic Petrov cathedral". to those who decide to stay at this hotel my sincere good luck.
