Eleni & Aqua Sol Holiday Villages - Paphos, Cyprus 

We stayed at the Eleni four years ago and were really looking forward to going back as we had a fab time but the hotel has really gone from excellent to poor, the food now has not as much choice and was always luke warm, the drinks were watered down so much i had 18 vodka and cokes one night and still could walk in a straight line, BEWARE if you play bingo we counted that the animation man collected 110 euros one night and paid only 70 euros out, when asked why he went on a wild rant about why had we counted the bingo tickets and then he did not speak to us and two other families the rest of the holiday no explaination he just stopped putting bingo on for 2 nights then he put it back on and still gave less money out than he took. He is also incharge of the activities in the day well i say two activities that lasted no longer than an hour, killer darts and water polo, when we were there four years ago the activities started at 11 and ended at 5 there was something every hour but this man has got it good doing nothing but 1 hour a day. The entertainment at night is terrible his own entertainment most of the time quiz, bingo then another night music quiz and bingo, and another night a parrot show for half an hour and bingo etc. The rooms are nice but the bed sheets and towels are not changed as often as they say s there was a mark on one of our sheets and it was still there 4 days later, the pool is nice though but while we were there our friends had their camera stolen and towels were going missing plus a mobile phone which happened to be dinos the man in charge of the resturant which happened to be found by the cleaners in a polish mans room, alot of polish guests staying there and a certain couple just walked around standing in different places around the pool looking, what at you decide they also just take airbeds and use them with out asking ,our friends had to chase this couple to their room as they had taken the babys airbed boat back to there room. Most of the staff there are nice except the animation man who is rude and arrogant. when we arrived there was an english girl called kerry running the kids club but she had no equipment to use and so she left and went home so they got a polish girl to run it but the english kids were being taken back to their parents after half hour because they could not understand her, she lasted two days and she left, after that there was no kids club. The eleni was fantastic 4 years ago now it is very poor , dont bother speaking to the manager as he just sits drinking at the bar every night and says that he will do some thing about the problems, but he must drink that much he forgets the next day and nothing gets put right, he does not seem bothered. 4 years ago the eleni was exclusive to first choice but it is not any longer we were told by first choice before we went it was, this is why its gone down bank. I just hope that the complaints we have made and nine other families it will be better when any one else goes good luck and i hope you do have a nice holiday and it goes back to the standard it was four years ago .
