Stayed here in the first week of july for 1 week. On arrival the room we were given had a wall tile smashed and fallen in the bathtub so we were moved to another room. This room had clearly not been occupied in weeks and was musty, had no view (was at the far right end of the hotel), with cockroaches! We asked to be moved and found a better room.
Rooms are extremely outdated with early 90s decor. There is a tv, weak air-con, outrageously expensive mini-bar and safe in rooms (pay extra). Some rooms have been recently refurbished but these tend to be the large junior suite rooms. Clearly its only the facilities eg gym, room service menu, fruit, good food, that make this hotel 5 star. The standard of rooms remind me of an english 3 star travel tavern. The outdoor pool bar is very expensive!!!
Location: Fairly close to central Limassol, take bus 30 which stops outside to centre, approx 10 mins. Hotel has its "own" beach with free sunbeds and beach towels.
Food: decent service from waiting staff except for the a la carte/set menu nights which are pure chaos!! They should do the buffet every night - its more organised. Food was really good with lots of choice and themed nights e.g. greek night, tex mex etc.
Pool was clean and sunbeds were plentiful. We went half board although there appeared to be a huge number of excellent restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel that made us feel we were missing out.
Tip: book bed & breakfast here - they have some outstanding offers if you upgrade to half board on arrival and its much cheaper to upgrade there than in the UK. e.g. 12euros pppn extra for HB.

We wanted a nice hotel but the 4 seasons was too expensive
So we booked here instead
was a bit concerned having seen some of the reviews
We booked a double sea view room - and thats what we got - Ok TV was a bit old and clunky and no clock radio - but we do not go away to clock watch or gaze at the TV !
Room did have - fruit and water on arrival - towelling robes and slippers - kettle with tea and coffee - mini bar - we did opt to pay to use the safe-and a wonderful view
Room was clean - and it was cleaned every day before 11am - I have never stayed in an hotel where that happened - in some of the top rated hotels in the world sometimes my room was not cleaned until late afternoon
The really best thing about the hotel was the pool area - loads of good quality loungers - the sort with a soft matress on top - and plenty of umberellas We always got a good seat without getting up at the crack of dawn (WHY do selfish people do that ? put out towels before 7am and then go off shopping or something and not claim their seats for hours- it happens all over the world ) the only time we did have real problems was over the 15th June bank holiday weekend
The hotel was invaded - by locals - I am not convinced they were all staying as not all had the blue hotel towels - they were masses of them - the beach was covered in bodies - every lounger was full - car park - well our car was "trapped " we wanted to escape for the day but even if we could have got the car out we felt we would not be able to park it again
Food and drink - service was eratic - and quality was fine - had better - had a lot woarse - glad we were only B&B - not interested in Tex Mex buffets and the like
Other guests at the hotel - well mainly british and russians - we thought it was an adults only hotel but there were a large number of mainly pre school russian children there
we would happily use the hotel again but not over a local bank holiday !
