2I stayed here with my mother for two nights as part of a tour. The room was adequate, although the water provided (in a small water "cooler") was distressingly warm and funny tasting. Also, when we departed, we had the hotel call us a taxi--it was extremely dirty and had no meter, and we ended up paying about 50% more for the ride to the airport than we should have.
But the worst experience we had at this hotel occurred at the bar on the ground floor. It was the last night of our week-and-a-half long tour, so all of the tour group members gathered in the bar for a drink and to say good-bye. Three of us ordered a Baileys, and after a quick taste we realized that all was not right with our glasses of Irish cream (it tasted very, very bad). We asked for the bottle, and upon inspection discovered that it was a year and a half past its use-by date. When we confronted the bar staff about the situation, not only did they not apologize or offer to get us another drink, when the bill came they actually tried to charge us for the three Baileys.
I've had great experiences at a number of other hotels in China, so I feel that this was an exception rather than the norm. With many other good options out there, my advice would be to go elsewhere.
