The hotel offers basic accommodation. Do not expect anything else but worn towels, uncomfortable beds and minimum necessities at breakfast. Some of the lamps in the room were broken and there is no minibar nor safety deposit box. Likewise, there is no ironing possibilities in the room nor is there any hairdryer. Both are available to borrow from the reception, unless another customer has already taken them, and then you may have to wait anything from 12 to 48 hours until you get them. The safety deposit boxes at the reception are very small e.g. do not expect them to fit in more than the smallest of your belongings. The rooms to the street are quite noisy due to bus traffic. There is no wireless connection that you can connect to and internet at the reception costs. But, I guess you do not need to expect much from the hotel since the location is good and within walking distance from everything...

Stayed here for 3 nights July 06. Breakfast was a buffet, dry bread (feels stale but its not), cheese, fruit, coffee/tea/juice. Had it first morning but after that didnt bother as better was found just 5 min walk away. Rooms. BASIC, it all worked, kept clean by room service who didnt turn up till midday which was great after a night out.. Beds in good condition, clean linnen, duvet etc. Walls painted and had lots of marks, could do with a fresh coat of paint, carpets ok but again showing signs of wear.. Had a colour TV which worked and could get CNN etc. I wasnt there to stay in the room so to be honest it served it purpose. Ideal for stag or hen groups and those who wish to explore as its near enough to the town centre and clubs/pubs but not expensive. Hotel has a lift which was working fine and someone on the front desk 24/7. Even has internet in reception if you need it. Be aware that Vilnius is undergoing a LOT of building work which is expected to be finished in a couple of years for the 1,000 th anniversary of the city, but dont expect much to be 1,000 years old as a lot of Vilnius has been destroyed by Russians, Germans, French etc over the centuries. We had a good time, cheap drinks, nice people, but unless your into churches (and there are LOTS of them) dont stay too long; a long weekend like we did was about right.
