We went to barcelona for our honeymoon and stayed at this hotel because of the price and pictures. It is perfect for a honeymoon if you just want to get away. it was right across the street from a fairly quiet beach, minutes away from a small mall and right next door to a wonderful chinese restaurant. we wanted to do touristy things too, so we got a 5 day pass for the tourist bus lines which picks you up relatively close to the hotel. we got to see all of the amazing attractions of barcelona and just got a trip to town the days we didn't want to go site-seeing. it is 20-30 min from the airport but really not that far from the city center via bus. everyone in barcelona is so nice and helpful and so many people speak broken english. there is an amazing tapas bar and a wonderful sushi joint in the main plaza circle in town. everyday in barcelona was so awesome, especially since the hotel and its staff are just so nice. they were really accomodating. we initially had a room facing the city and switched to get one facing the ocean. the street is quiet and overall it was a grand experience.
