Restaurant Mishio

MISHIO stands for a fresh, aromatic, healthy and quick cuisine which leans towards the Thai, Vietnam and Chinese kitchens. Due to the short cooking time, vegetables and herbs retain their natural vitamins. The modern design of the see-through kitchen, the restaurant and take away are dominated by wood and glass. MISHIO is a Japanese first name, written with the signs for light and salt. Both are fundamental elements for life. Light (mi) played a big part in our gastro concept. Salt (shio) was at one time more precious than gold and is the symbol for a tasteful cuisine.

NEW Garden Oasis NEW

Since the 9th May 2005 we have opend our superior garden oasis. We have been able to achieve a unique Asian garden atmosphere including tall trees, where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms facing the courtyard now have a wonderful view of one of the most beautiful courtyards in Zurich.

If you would like to enjoy a more exclusive lunch or dinner, we'll be happy to reserve a table for you at the Sorell Hotel Zürichberg, either in the Colibri gourmet bar or in the à la carte Kiebitz restaurant. In both restaurants, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, Lake Zurich and the spectacular Swiss alpine scenery.
