Hotel Europe - Zurich, Switzerland     

Had a great stay in this hotel. although the hotel might give the impression that it is a bit old, most of the rooms have been nicely refurbished and provide great value for the spaceous rooms and the excellent location. you find yourself right next to the o[pera house a few steps from the lake and can pretty much walk anywhere in zurich. can only recommend it and the staff was very friendly as well. i just read the previous review and i have to say that it is classified as a 3 star, but i'd surely give it 4 stars!!

Zürich ist immer eine Reise wert, wenn man dann aber auch noch durch Zufall ein super Hotel an bester Lage erwischt, nimmt man sich vor, nicht erst wieder in 2 Jahren zu kommen sondern Zürich jährlich einen Besuch abzustatten. Ich war mit Freunden übers Wochenende und alle waren mehr als zufrieden! Das Hotel versprühlt sehr viel Charm der genau zu einer Stadt wie Zürich passt. Offensichtlich ist das Hotel auch Eigentümergeführt, was am Service und der Sauberkeit deutlich zu spühren ist. Wer nicht weit gehen möchte, isst hervorragend im Hotelangrenzenden Restaurant Quaglions und auch sonst, stehen die Damen an der Rezeption mit guten Insider-Tipps gerne zur Verfügung.
