Marriott Zurich - Zurich, Switzerland 

Just returned from a one nights stay in the Zurich Marriott. Haven't really got a bad word to say about the hotel itself, the room was lovely, very spacious, nice modern decor, very comfortable too. Great view as we were quite high up. However we weren't very impressed with the staff on the front desk, one lady in particular was in fact quite rude towards us. Maybe she was having a bad day? All in all, nice hotel and i wouldn't say ''out the way'' as suggested by a previous reviewer, as it is only a 5 or 6 minute walk to the main station and the world famous Bahnhofstrasse. However ,would still prefer to stay at the Schweizerhof but yet again it was fully booked!

We booked this hotel on Hotwire as a cost saving measure on the final leg of our Swiss holiday, saving over 50% of the normal Zurich hotel rate. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but fairly accessible due to the efficiently run tram system leading to the main train station and the City Center. There are also a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The rooms are of typical Marriott quality with a comfortable if not slightly soft bed. As expected, the room was clean. The bathroom was reasonably sized and included a bidet. The front desk service was cordial and helpful, and English appears to be a primary language.
