The staff of this hotel was friendlly, helpful, and was by far the best part of the hotel. The room and bathroom was clean but a little outdated. It needed some attention in the decorating area. The location is what we did not like about this hotel. Although it was located in close proximity to the duomo, we did not feel safe walking to the hotel. Beginning in the early afternoon and into the wee hours of the morning drunks and homeless people sit in the piazza outside and make cat-calls to you and make you feel extremely uncomfortable. My husband does not usually get nervous but he almost changed hotels because of this. When I mentioned it to the night staff one night the man I spoke with did not speak much english. I would not stay her again because I did not feel safe walking home a night.

Tons of character and ideally located. The Hotel is located in an old monastery, rooms seem large with A/C, TV. Lobby had internet access. Breakfast was good.
