Orovacanze Club Eurovillage Nausicaa - Rossano, Italy 

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a longer holiday in Italy. We were brought by Italian friends who live in nearby Reggio Calabria. We had a one bedroom apartment, the bedroom was very spacious and had a balcony - not much of a view though. There were two pop out beds in the living area which were prefect for the kids. There was also a small but well equipped kitchen area. The bathroom was small but fine, the hot water needed to be turned on before use though which was a pain on the first night as it took ages to heat up and then was boiling hot! The weather was very hot while we were there and I was very glad of the efficient air conditioning in the rooms. We booked an all-in package which I think is the only one available so all meals were included. Given that this is a large holiday village catering for big numbers every day I thought the food was very good. Breakfast was the least inspiring but the other 2 meals offered huge choice from pasta to meat/fish dishes and loads of delicious vegetable dishes - all served buffet style. The pools are big and busy with a fantastic kids pool. In the evenings there was a show by the 'animation' staff which was a big hit with the kids even though they speak no Italian. I think we were the only non-Italian guests there but it made no difference really. The kids loved it and as all parents know, when the kids are happy on holiday you can relax...a bit.
