Parkhotel Zug & Congress Center - Zug, Switzerland     

From an American standpoint. We stayed there with my family for a weekend in June. Here are my thoughts 1. Modern, fully equiped business hotel, very safe with a great breakfast. Watch out for the free porn in the room if you have kids. 2. 330 franks per night weekend but jacked it to 460 on monday night so beware 3. The town is full of Italian restaurants...pretty awesome 4. Right near the train and Lucern is 30 minutes...great day trip overall great choice 5. A double queen is actually two twins pushed together FWI

We have just been back from our Spring vacation in Switzerland and this year we have decided to spend part of our trip in Zug to enable us to easily travel to the southern part. It was a pleasant time our family had experienced during staying in the Parkhotel Zug which is really above our expectation since we expected to receive normal business hotel atmosphere. On the other hand we have received a really friendly and welcoming services from all the hotel staff starting from the front desk to porters, housekeeping and restuarant staff. They treat the guest with a warm welcoming manner and very informative assistance. The hotel is just 10 mins.walk to the main train station through the modern departmentstore Metalli which help obscure your eyesight from the unpleasant look of the train station. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable, the window of all the rooms facing a small park which is very quiet. The room are spacious and fully equipped with necessary equipment espectially there are many power outlet for electronic equipment which suitable for newage travellers. Recommended for travellers with electronics equipment such as notebook and digital gadgets. We love to stay there and will go back to this hotel next April.
