I needed a hotel for the night in leeds and looked on the internet and found Quebecs, it had pretty good reviews so I booked a room through laterooms.com. I paid £150 for an executive double room, not sure if that is cheaper than the hotel rate.
On arrival at the hotel I was disappointed to find that there is not really a hotel car park (as described on one website), only 7 spaces and all were full. I was advised that there was a car park less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, so we dumped our bags and went to find the car park. After a long battle with the inner city loop road we finally found the car park and set off back to the hotel, it was over 10 minutes walk to get back.
Our room (202) was really nice, the decor was lovely and the bed looked really comfortable. Good facilities, i.e hairdryer and iron/ironing board, hi-fi, internet access point and well stocked minibar. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, the surround on the bath was thick with mould and when I mentioned it to reception the receptionist didn't have much to say about it.
I had a good nights sleep although the fan on the air coditioning was quite noisy and it would not turn off. Apart from the dirty bath, the shower was excellent really hot and powerful.
We never made breakfast as we had beem advise that it was £10.95 each and after paying £150 for the room i expected that breakfast would have been inclusive.
We did like the idea of the honest bar in the oak room which was beautiful and had the most wonderful ceiling, the bar left a lot to be desired though, dirty glasses strewn all over the place and hardly any mixers, most of the bottles of spirits etc were empty although there was ice.
Overall the hotel is beautiful and well located, staff ok, room lovely, bathroom could be better. I don't think i would stay there again, mainly because of the parking situation.

Stayed here for one night on business in a lovely suite called Bon Bon which was cosy and felt more homely than most hotels in Leeds.
It was incredibly but without the noise and felt peaceful and private despite. The breakfast room and Oak room were very peaceful and found the whole stay there most pleasant for a business trip.
Keep an eye on the alleged Wifi in the Oak room that failed to work, but took a few atempts from the reception to get the right wire. A very quiet hotel and actually feel like there a no guests or staff in a nice way.
