Built with a rustic Wallis Chalet in mind the Walliserhof Hotel offers the ambience of a home away from home. All rooms offer a mini-bar, TV and radio with family rooms available on request. The hotel is located just a few steps from the Thermal Centre and Rheumatology Centre. Hotel guests are entitled to a reduction on tickets into the thermal baths, towels are available free of charge (small deposit required).
The Torrent Lift is a mere five minute walk from which you can reach the Torrent area for walking and skiing. A 30% reduction on green fees is offered to hotel guests at the golf course in Leuk (18 holes)
Togheter with a traditional lounge with a small bar, our playing and conference room is always opened to you. Of course we offer you various games or children's toys too.
All our visitors who travel to Leukerbad by railway / bus are fetched, by request, at the bus station by porter-car. The baggage will always be carried from and to the bus station.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité des bains de Burgerbad; possibilité de parking devant l'hôtel. S'il n'y apas de places, le parkink officiel est à 200m environ.
Les chambres sont petites mais confortables, les petits déjeuners copieux et très variés, avec d'excellents pains complets, céréales, et même la traditionnelle tresse du dimanche.Confitures maisons, oeufs, fromages, charcuteries, céréales, fruits, thé, café à volonté. Les propriétaires sont serviables et sympathiques. Je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel à qui veut passer quelques jours de détente dans un endroit simple et confortable, très bon rapport qualité prix.

Malgre un site naturel incroyable, nous avons eu quelques problemes avec le personnel de l'etablissement, en particulier la serveuse du petit-dejeuner, extremement desagreable et arrogante. Nous avons signale son comportement aux gerants de l'hotel qui n'ont rien trouve de mieux a faire que la soutenir en pretextant un probleme de langue (elle ne parle qu'allemand, tres peu d'anglais). Expatries de par notre activite professionnelle, nous etions cependant bien places pour reconnaitre un comportement respectueux d'un comportement arrogant, barriere de la langue ou pas. D'autant plus que la gerante nous a ensuite reproche de ne pas savoir parler anglais pour excuser le comportement de son petit personnel, sans connaitre cette information....
Les cloisons entre les chambres sont egalement tres fines.
Le service de chambre est tellement presse de faire la chambre qu'il nous demande de nettoyer pendant que nous prenons le petit-dejeuner vers 9h (ce service etant pourtant prevu jusqu'a 13h).
