The Bergrestaurant Simi at Furi, located at 1800 meters above sea level, was built and opened in 1967 by Renate and Simon Biner. Today, almost 40 years later, guests still receive a hearty welcome from Renate Biner, and she still personally looks after their welfare!

In addition to authentic Swiss and Valais specialties, delicacies from the wood grill or hot stone are served daily between 11:30 am and 5 pm. Of course the typical Valais wine is always available, too!

Whether you get there on foot, skis, snowboard, snowshoes or by bike the Bergrestaurant Simi is always a good choice!

The hotel staff was ok, but not very friendly. I don't think they really know how to make the guests happy. We originally booked for the deluxe room, but when we checked in to the room, we didn't really know if we were allocated to the right room, so we asked the male receptionist to make sure the room was the deluxe room. He told us that we were upgraded to the deluxe room as if they were doing our favour... !! We were trying to explain and show our booking confirmation letter which says that our original booking was deluxe room and not the standard room, so that it was not "upgrade", but he insisted that we were wrong and didn't even bother to look at the confirmation letter. It was also my boyfriend's birthday, so I asked the hotel in advance if they could give us a room with a nice view, but our room was on the 1st floor and we could see nothing from the balcony except for the building which was under construction... Their website says that a welcome drink will be offered, but we didn't get one and nobody mentioned about it in the hotel, so I don't know if they really offer it.
