I recentley went to this hotel to meet up with some of my 7 month daughters family on her dads side. It was my first time abroad with my daughter Maddie so i was a bit nervous but the staff there tried to help out where ever they could. I asked at reception if they had a high chair for her for breakfast and they said they didnt but would put it forward to the manager for future customers. I thought ok we will manage quite easily without one but the next morning as soon as we went to breakfast they produced a high chair for Maddie. I dont know if they borrowed it or bought one but I was very impressed. We had a drink in the very small bar one night and as there were 8 adults and Maddie we had to rearrange the furniture a little bit. The barman came and sorted all that out for us and then insisted on taking Maddie off me and wheeling her up and down, talking to her in french and a little bit of english for about 45 minutes until she fell asleep. I thought this above and beyond the call of duty and he was a fantastic guy. The rooms were very clean. We had a bigger one than everyone else because of the cot so ours was great. Everyone else had a room a little on the small side but they were very functional. It is also so central to everything with the Louvre just over the road and Champs Elysees, Notre Dame and many other sites all within walking distance. I would really recomend going to Sainte Chapelle which is close to Notre Dame as it is amazing. The story of the bible is depicted in 15 stained glass windows and is stunning. I can comment on value for money of this hotel as I didnt pay but it was welcoming, comfey, clean and central. Just a word to the wise though, Paris is ridiculously expensive and we sought out cheaper places. You are looking at about ?12 for two pints of beer. But it is an amazingly beautiful city and i would definately go again. Hope this is of some use and enjoy Paris

Excellent hotel in the best neighborhood! You can walk easily to anywhere and the metro stop is less than two blocks. This hotel is very stylish and well kept. To complain in general about this hotel, at these rates, you are a high maintenance guest and might want to consider The Ritz which is right down the street. I read every review before I came and most do not do justice to this hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and above my expectations. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always with a smile. Breakfast is perfect and service in the dinning room excellent. The basement dinning room is beautiful! Sausages, eggs, cereal, pastries all worth the extra price which is much less then one would pay outside the hotel.
If you have a room looking over the street, it can be loud in the evening as there are other hotels and restaurants on the block BUT you will find this everywhere in Paris...get over it and shut your window or you can request a room in the rear looking over the courtyard. I would stay here again with NO hesitation. This hotel has made my stay in Paris wonderful!
