Hotel Albert I - Bruges, Belgium     

We booked this trip through the AirMiles Travel Company and what a disaster it was! The beds are comfy, the people are friendly and the rooms are clean however, (and this is a big however), the location is absolutely awful as the hotel is located right by a bus station and a main road! The noise throughout the night was absolutely awful - from midnight until 2pm all you can hear is the late night reverllers waiting for their last bus home and then after that you hear the noisest traffic sounds - it was like sleaping by a motorway! I never normally have trouble sleeping and noise doesn't bother me (I live in the centre of London!) however this was so loud my parnter and I could not sleep a wink!! Dont stay here if you want to sleep!!!! Also, it was very hot so we had the windows open (which didnt help with the noise) but we had no choice as there is no air conditioning and the heat was too much to bear without the window open

nice location, 5min walk from train station, and situated near bus station, but hotel directions poor and hard to find without specific map; rooms large and clean; included breakfast excellent, but extra charge for cooked eggs! would definitely recommend for price
