Stayed at Le Warwick Hotel in Geneva for three nights in November 2005.The location is excellent as the hotel is almost opposite the Cornavin railway station in the city centre.Having travelled by train from the airport(10 minute journey) the hotel could not have been more handy.The hotel is classed as four stars and has the expected level of service.Excellent check-in facilities by courteous and helpful staff.Room was of a good size and very comfortable.Despite the hotel being located on a main road the traffic noise was minimal.Good buffet style breakfast available until 10.30am throughout the week.The hotel is within a few minutes walking time of the lake front and most of the city attractions are easily reached on foot.The hotel provides guests with travel passes allowing free travel on all public transport within central Geneva.Did not use the hotel restaurant other than for breakfast so cannot comment on the standard of the meals.Would happily use this hotel again.

A pleasant surprise

Excellent value for money. A clean, well-kept hotel with friendly staff and a GREAT location right next to the main railway station. We had Lunch at the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the food. The staff went out of their way to make sure that my 1 year old was comfortable. All in all, a very nice experience.

Great location

Geneva is an expensive city and the warwick is an expensive hotel, especially given the decline in the value of the U.S. Dollar. Nevertheless, the Warwick can't be beat for location. It is directly opposite the railroad station with its direct connection to the airport and an easy walk to the lake. We had booked a superior room for three nights on the seventh floor for myself, my wife and son. Like most European hotel rooms, it was a bit tight but workable. However, the room which faced the street, had a problem with the air conditioning. The hotel staff was very accomodating and moved us to another room on the same floor with a nice view of the lake. I would give them a thumbs-up.
