Epsom Manotel - Geneva, Switzerland 

great 4 star hotel but...no slippers

i've booked the hotel from its website with student discount rate. i really really like the characteristic of hotel both outside and inside although it maybe better to stay at hotel nearer train station than this one bc there are more important place to see, shopping centre and restaurants. On the other hand just 7-10 min walk from train station or you can take taxi is not bad to stay in the nice room like this hotel bedroom with air conditioner and decorate with wonderful pictures, fire(very bright), good equipment , etc. beautiful bathroom and the most fragrant shower gel and shampoo (seaweed) that cannot find from any hotels else :P ***one thing that i'm not satisfied is that just no slippers in the room comparing with other 4 star hotels that prepared for us delicious breakfast!!! ................................recommended............................... you can see the room photo from hotel website it's exactly the same anyway, swiss are kind and friendly, they help and explain us where to go and see in Geneva. I also the atmosphere of this city

Great value, location and food!

I had the chance to stay in 3 of the Manotel hotels and the Epsom was just as excellent as any of the others. Staff is super friendly and accomodating, rooms are spacious and clean, The Protobello restaurant offers excellent food and for Geneva standards at a great price. I was thrilled to be able to walk to any area of the city without depending on their expensive taxis! Public transport is very nearby, easy to use and so timely! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants peace and quiet, great location and great food and overall good service any time.

Our room at the Epsom was nicely furnished, decently sized, with a partial view of the lake. The front desk staff was courteous and attentive and the housekeeping staff provided excellent and timely service. While I chose the hotel mainly for its location ( convenient to my business meetings), I wouldn't have a second thought about staying here again for sightseeing in Geneva. All in all the Epsom is an excellent hotel, as are all of the hotels in the Manotel group.

very disappointing

A very impersonal experience. The staff were quite disinterested. The rooms were fine ,if a little dark and the bed was comfortable. The was no buzz about the place as one would normally expect in a hotel of this size and price. However, there was quite a lot of noise from children which was easily heard through our walls. The sister hotel , the manotel Kipling, which we had stayed at at the beginning of our holiday provided a much superior experience.
