Posted: Jan 26, 2011 - If you are thinking of going to Switzerland and would like to experience the beauty of the high alps, close to thermal baths in Leukerbad, I would very much recommend staying at the Berghotel Wildstrubel. The hotel is near the Gemmi pass, high above Leukerbad (Loeche les bains)and is reached by cable car, or hard core hiking involving ladders! My sister and I stayed there in the summer of 1999 for a night in a nice four person dorm with just us. The decor was light wood with bunks and the view was really special. The food was nice, and the staff were extremely pleasant.. Read review
