Unico Grande Sathorn - Bangkok, Thailand 

Just came back staying 4 nights in this hotel on 29 May 2008. Made my reservation via Asia Web Direct. Check in and check out service was a breeze with friendly front office staff. Hotel looks new and modern setting.Booking details were all perfect from Asia Web Direct. Stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite room for 6 of us in the family and it was perfect. There is a small kitchen, small refrigerator, a complimentary fast internet access in the room, Tv , DVD player and etc. Hotel Sauna and small gym is free. Swimming pool is rather small though but no complaint at all ( same floor as my room i.e 3rd floor and this made it so convenient. Breakfast is ok but for my family (muslim) we have to opt for only bread and cereal as the only choice. The Hotel is next to BTS (Bangkok Train Station), station: "ChongNonsi" , abt 5 minutes walk. A seven eleven store and a MacDonald outlet just beside the BTS. Calling Taxi service by Hotel staff is fast and arrival is quick. A Tuk-Tuk seems to be around the corner most of the time incase you want to try a different transport option. Hotel is suitable for family trip as the surrounding area is quite peaceful and not in the red light district area. Many foreign embassies is located near the vicinity. Overall this is excellent hotel to me and will be happy to come back to stay here again in future.
