  • This is not the kind of place where you can host a pajama party in your hotel room. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, look elsewhere. Dirty linen/dirty room/dirty bathroom: not ours. Our room was impeccably clean, the bed linen smelled fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. There was lots of hot water, too, and the pillows on the bed were lovely and soft. The whole hotel was quite spruce and clean, actually, and the windows were thick enough that we couldn’t hear the city traffic rushing by immediately outside – a sign of good construction.. • Apparently, this place is under new management, but we had a room with two beds that also included a sofa bed and a refrigerator we weren't expecting. The room was clean and housekeeping politely worked around our rather random schedule. Because of meeting up with friends who didn't want to drive, we occasionally had more people in our room than we booked and the staff couldn't have been more laid back about it. The kids want me to point out room service is not open 24 hours, but since the idea of room service at a Days Inn is odd anyway, I wasn't too upset.. Read review

  • If you want an inexpensive, clean, friendly, conveniently located place to stay in Toronto, this is it. If you want a big room, a fancy lobby, great views, don't stay here. The FREE FULL BREAKFAST was good and the waitress was very nice. My (tiny) room was spotless when I arrived and thoroughly cleaned every day. It was cramped but I didn't need a lot of room. The parking garage is two blocks away - an easy walk in good weather. The stairway to the parking garage could be a bit scary. The view from my window was the back side of a billboard.. Read review

  • I booked a double room a few weeks before we were due and was given a confirmation number as well as giving my credit card details to secure the booking, so you can imagine my surprise when me and my friends arrived after a flight from the States to be told there was no booking at all! The front desk were fantastic though in doing their best to accomodate us and offered us two rooms, one at the discounted rate and one at a slightly lower rate than was available. Drawbacks: The hotel has 3 floors and no elevator, so be prepared to lug your own luggage up and down the stairs. The heat was turned up to full and there was no thermostat in the rooms, so we ended up having to turn the cold air on just to stop ourselves from dehydrating. The best thing about the hotel was that the price included a full cooked breakfast!. Read review
