The owner was very helpful and flexible. Public space in the building exceeded expectations. The area surrounding the hotel is a little rough, but it is within walking distance to great sites. I would definitely stay there again.
The room was not cleaned for four days. WE had to ask for towels. Chairs and couch were used and heavily stained but price was fairly low. The owner was kind of nice and tried to be helpful...
The hotel is very central but in between two city shelters. No one was aggressive, just a bit obnoxious. This may be a real problem for women.
