Le Cajun, well know for its 5 @ 7, is a comfortable bar with a warm ambiance, inspired by New Orleans. Situated next to the Hotel Bourbon reception, it is often frequented by hotel clientele as well as visitors and residents of the Village. The staff are attentive and friendly. You can also enjoy one of the 5 billiard tables, and for those who feel lucky choose from 10 video lottery machines. Open everyday from 8:00am to 3:00am.

Le Tools is the discotheque of Complex Bourbon. Generally frequented by men, the club is open to all. Pop and house music on Thursdays, with old tunes from the 80s and 90s and not forgetting today's hits on Fridays and Saturdays.

The club, with its many levels, dance floor and billiard room, promotes a unique ambiance. For the more daring, Le Playroom is accessible by Le Tools. A place to discover! Open Thursday to Saturday from 10:00pm to 3:00am.

What Travellers Like

Our room at Hotel Bourbon was clean and well air conditioned; a blessing given the humidex of 37 degrees C (98F) the day we were there. The service is alright, the staff is friendly and the hotel itself is in the heart of the clubs, pubs and restos of Montreal's Gay Village. The front desk is a little disorganized, but they make up for it with friendliness, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable rates. Hell, they even managed to find us a decent room, last minute, on Formula 1 weekend. You won't get mints on your pillow, but rooms have private washrooms, A/C, TV, no phone, but do apparently have free WiFi (we didn't have our laptop with us to check), a few "tester" packs of shampoos and stuff, as well as some clean (although mismatched) towels. If you're looking for a casual travel experience, decent rooms, affordable rates and being close to everything (including the metro), this is a good hotel to consider. The Complex is in a good location, but don't expect to get your room cleaned and you need to ask for extra pillows and clean towels. You Can expect to be verbally accosted by the staff as 'Stupid Americans'. The staff also has a problem with the new owner and morale is low.. Read review

No one cleaned the rooms. We always had to ask for clean towels. Why do we the paying customer have to ask for clean towels when it should be a necessity here.

But seriously, this hotel doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. Our room windows faced the back alley way. There's no screen meshing on the windows. My friend left the windows opened one night because it got so hot in the room since the AC was useless and didn't work properly. I was disturbingly awakened at 7am by my 2 other friend in the other bed, as I woke up there was some stranger standing over there bed. He said he climbed through our window cause he saw "3 hot guys he wanted to fool around with". My two other friends told him to leave, he then comes to my bed and starts touching me asking to fool around I screamed at him to leave the room.

The shower had not been cleaned in a long time.

There were used toiletries in the shower. The carpet lookied like it had been puked on more than once. The furniture was cheap 80's style and dirty. I had to go oout and buy some flip flops for the shower b4 I coould use it. It took 15 minutes for the water to warm up enough to become bearable. We looked at 3 rooms and they were all in the same condition. The hawway carpet was filthy and I never saw a cleaner while I was there.
