The Rodeway Hotel in Montreal near Dorval was just filthy! Bugs, hairs in the sink and bathtub. Pillows that had a nasty smell. Don't even think about staying there! And the night cleark was surly and rude.

This motel is cheap and is run on a shoestring. That suited me. The front desk person also operates the shuttle to the airport. Actually this works well and the shuttle is available as needed so there are no worries about whether it will show up. I was picked up from the airport promptly. Breakfast was Wonderbread with a toaster available, also tea and coffee. That was a disappointment. Some bus tickets had been mailed there a couple of weeks before my stay for me to pick up and they were handed over efficiently.

The room my family and I had was clean, cosy and very quiet (no planes or next rooms noises at all). The bathroom was recently beautifully renovated and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was basic but Dorval airport was only minutes away if we wanted something more before our flight.
