Location
Amidst historical magnificence and contemporary architecture, you will find the finest Chateau Versailless, Museums and Art Galleries, Antique shops at the foot of Mt-Royal on Sherbrooke Street West, affectionately called the Golden Square Mile.
Boasting an artsy and colorful look, the Château features 65 bedrooms and suites with a powerful mix of rich fabric textures set against vibrant color schemes.
Set to a backdrop of exquisite antiques, this historic property hosts a variety of original art pieces scattered amidst dramatic staircases, unique original crown moldings and over sized fireplaces; a few reasons why guests keep coming back.
Brontë, run by head chef Mercuri, is a fine dining restaurant located across the street at Le Meridien-Versailles.
As noted by the Montreal Gazette's food critic, Lesley Chesterman: "Mercuri focuses on luxury ingredients (foie gras, deer and veal), assorted cooking techniques (braising, curing, searing and charring), and appealing flavor combinations (risotto with seafood, and wild mushroom-stuffed cannelloni). Although countless chefs have adopted this style post millenium, Mercuri has a unique approach enhanced by a talent for colour and composition. Plate presentations don't get much prettier than this".

Great location for downtown stuff and good service. Bathroom a little narrow and nice towels. Wonderful Polish food, efficient check-in by a super staff.
